My early career in television was spent in news: I was the leading presenter for Anglia's nightly news and magazine programme, About Anglia, for eleven years.

It was during that time that I developed an interest in medical and social journalism, which led to me becoming an agony aunt and then a psychotherapist and life-coach.

Now, I mostly appear on television as a sex and relationships consultant, or as a mental health commentator.

Television credits include: Trisha, Kilroy, Open House With Gloria Hunniford, The Good Sex Guide... Late, Am I Good In Bed?, BBC Breakfast, GMTV's LK Today and Living TV's Family Forensics

My most regular current commitment is on Channel 5's The Wright Stuff.
